Job Advertising Policy
This policy sets out what we will and will not publish, and how sponsorship is labelled.
This page is a template. It reflects how TalentSponsor is built, but it must be reviewed and completed by a qualified adviser before publication.

Approval
Every vacancy is reviewed by an administrator before publication. Editing a live vacancy returns it for review.
Sponsorship labelling
- “Sponsorship Confirmed” is used only where the original vacancy explicitly states sponsorship is available
- “Licensed Sponsor – Confirm with Employer” is used where the employer appears on the sponsor register but the vacancy does not confirm sponsorship
- “No Sponsorship Offered” is used where the advert explicitly states sponsorship is unavailable
- “Sponsorship Status Not Confirmed” is used where there is insufficient information
- We do not describe every vacancy from a licensed sponsor as a sponsorship job
Evidence
Every sponsorship label is recorded with the wording it is based on, the result of any sponsor register check and the date of that check.
Source material
We do not copy complete job descriptions or employer logos from third-party websites without permission. We publish a short original summary and link to the employer’s own application page.
What we will not publish
- Vacancies that require payment from candidates
- Vacancies with discriminatory requirements
- Vacancies we cannot trace to a genuine employer
- Vacancies that misstate sponsorship availability
- Duplicate listings of the same role
Ongoing checks
Vacancies are rechecked on a schedule. We detect broken links, flag expired vacancies, prevent duplicates and remove suspicious advertisements.
